Soccer Camp - Day #1

Greetings from New Salem Free Church!

With the incliment weather and the extreme heat we were worried the soccer camp might have to move indoors, but God calmed the storms and we were able to endure the hot weather! We had 26 kids come the first day to Soccer Camp.

Our primary responsibility this week is to run the soccer camp and teach the half-time devotionals. Obviously, the goal is to preach the gospel. We have decided to use all five days to answer the question: "Who is Jesus?" So, during our first day we taught about the humanity of Jesus. Bumpers did an amazing job at displaying Jesus as a real guy who lived in actual time and space on earth! Tomorrow, the bumpers will tell about the divinity and supremacy of Christ - obviously put into terms kids can understand. Please pray that God's Spirit would teach those who listen that Jesus is truly the God of the universe - the very person who spoke the earth into existence.

In Christ,
The Sioux Falls Bumpers
