Yesterday (last nite we got back too late for me to post) we did a carnival for the neighborhood and it was a blast! We had a bunch of people there--way more than for the sports camp, and the neighbors enjoyed it. We did, too, and we carried on a running squirt gun fight among ourselves and the kids. Lots of games and prizes, a bounce house, and free hot dogs, cotton candy, snow cones and popcorn.
After cleanup, we headed to Valleyfair and did the roller coasters, water park and just had fun walking around, sitting and people watching--and there's quite a lot to watch there. Sang some songs on the bus going back to the dorm and piled into bed after a very busy day.
Today it's off to Faith EFC for worship and a goodbye to the congregation and Pastor Tom and to the team from Atlantic EFC. It's been a great week, and we're sorry to see it end, but we're looking forward to seeing our families and friends again (and to sleep in our own beds).
